Thiruvananthapuram: Former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, on Thursday, welcomed the SC order for a CBI probe into the role of Kerala police officers in framing him in the 1994 espionage case. Speaking to reporters after the SC verdict, he stated that let the truth behind the case come out.

He also said that if there was any political conspiracy behind the case, it should be revealed.

“This action could have been taken earlier. Because of this case, the use of cryogenic technology, was delayed. The technology that should have been in use since 1999 came after 15 years in 2014,” he added.

Narayanan also stated that he had given statement including that of the role of Intelligence Bureau officials during the investigation.
