Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary MV Govindan asserted that the party brings flexibility in its stance towards Muslim League inorder to get popular support against Sangh Parivar. Accommodating particular views shall not be considered as an invitation to the party, said MV Govindan.
In an editorial on the CPM mouthpiece, MV Govindan opined that the dissent expressed by the Muslim League and RSP against the governor created a stalemate in UDF.
The CPM’s stance against the Sangh Parivar is the reason why several parties within the UDF extended support to the party. He also praised League for its stance on the issues such as the Vizhinjam port protest and the governor’s controversy.
