New Delhi: KPCC President K Sudhakaran, who is facing a cheating case involving fake-antique dealer Monson Mavunkal, said that the investigation team has sought details of his wife's financial dealings.

Responding to the media in New Delhi on Monday, Sudhakaran said that an investigating team from Kozhikode had sought bank account details of his wife. Notice was issued to the principal of a school where my wife is employed, he added.

Meanwhile, Sudhakaran remarked that his visit to Delhi is related to the internal matters of Congress. It is reported that Opposition leader VD Satheesan and KPCC president will hold talks with the party's high command. Earlier, there were reports that Sudhakaran might step aside from the position to face the ongoing investigation. However, these claims were later dismissed by the KPCC president himself.
