The incident happened two months ago and died on Thursday morning while on a ventilator at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
Koduvalli: A one-and-a-half-year-old girl who was knocked unconscious after swallowing a rambutan died here on Thursday. The deceased is identified as Ayesha Zia, daughter of Kizhakkoth Thannikkal T Nazeer.
The baby swallowed rambutan two months ago and fell unconscious. She was on ventilator support at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
Ayesha Zia is survived by her mother Shafeeda Banu and sister Fathima Hasa.
