Thiruvananthapuram: An impersonation attempt was thwarted during the PSC examination held in Poojappura Chinnamma Memorial Girls School here on Wednesday. The miscreant reportedly ran out of the examination hall amidst biometric verification. The incident happened during the university LGS exam which was held in the morning.

The invigilator had grown suspicious of the miscreant’s identity while he was cross-checking the photos on the hall ticket and the ID card. However, sensing danger, the impostor fled the spot immediately.  The person hadn’t been traced yet. A case in connection with the incident has been lodged at the Poojappura police.

Police have begun probe and efforts are on to nab the accused.
