Kochi: In the Kodenchery interfaith marriage row, Joseph, the father of the woman said that he does not want to see his daughter Joysna anymore. 

“ I wanted to know why she did this, But she refused to reveal it in the court,” said Joseph.

“I knew that the verdict will be in favour of them. But I want to remind her that she is surrounded by a cast of vultures now. No one should have such a terrible experience. She did not come to meet me in court. Hereafter, she doesn't need to come to meet me, ” he asserted.

The Kerala High Court disposed of the habeas corpus writ filed by the father of Joysna Mary Joseph, whose marriage with a Muslim man named Shejin triggered controversy of love jihad.

The Division Bench of the High Court sent Joysna with Shejin after the woman submitted in the court that she was not under any detention and had gone with Shejin with her consent.
