Guruvayur police register a case against Instagram users Jasna Salim and R1 Bright for allegedly filming reels inside the temple premises, violating a High Court order.

Thrissur: Reels was once again filmed within the Guruvayur temple premises, prompting the Guruvayur Devaswom to file a complaint that led to police action. A case has been registered against two Instagram users, Jasna Salim and R1 Bright, in connection with the incident.
Earlier, Jasna Salim had sparked controversy after cutting a cake on the Guruvayur temple footpath during Sri Krishna Jayanthi. The Kerala High Court later intervened and ordered that filming of reels and videos be prohibited along the temple’s footpath.
Despite the court order, the same individuals have reportedly filmed new reels, this time within the western gate of the temple.
Following the incident, the temple administrator lodged a formal complaint with the Guruvayur police, who have now registered a case against the duo for incitement to riot.
