
Thiruvananthapuram: The Customs officials are unlikely to get the CCTV visuals which they demanded as part of the investigation into gold smuggling case, it is learnt. The Customs had requested for the footage on the premises of the Thiruvananthapuram airport.
The police informed that they have not installed any CCTV cameras on the airport premises. The Customs had asked for the visuals from the airport area in a period of three months.
The police have installed CCTV cameras till Chakka bypass. Even those cameras store only the visuals recorded in one month. The police informed the Customs that they can hand over the available CCTV visuals.
