Thiruvananthapuram: In a shocking discovery, four packets of ganja were seized from the men's hostel under Kerala University.

The ganja was seized during an inspection conducted by the Kerala Excise Department at the hostel near the LMS Church in Palayam.

The excise officials carried out the inspection at several hostels after receiving information that students were staying in hostels despite the closure of colleges. The inspection was carried out at the Palayam hostel as part of this operation.

As per the latest updates, the inspection is still ongoing at the hostel.
