Kozhikode: Kerala Health Minister Veena George said that four individuals, including two deceased patients in Kozhikode, have tested positive for Nipah Virus.
Addressing the media after receiving the test results from the National Virology Institute, Pune, Veena George revealed that three out of five samples tested positive for Nipah Virus. She added that relatives of the person deceased on August 30 have also tested positive.
Those who tested positive, including a 9-year-old boy and brother-in-law of the deceased individual, are undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Hospital.
