Kozhikode: Former MLA and Muslim League state vice president C Moyinkutty passed away here on Monday. He was 77.
He was elected to the assembly from Koduvally and Thiruvambady constituencies.
In 1996, he was elected as MLA from Koduvally constituency. He represented Thiruvambady constituency during 2001-06 and 2011-16.
He also served as president of Thamarassery panchayat.
His last rites will be performed at Andona Jama-ath mosque on Monday at 1 pm.
He is son of late PC Ahammad Kutty Haji and Kunjichama. He is survived by wife Khadeeja, son Ansar Ahammad and daughters Mubeena and Haseena.
