Thiruvananthapuram: LDF convener EP Jayarajan will be made a witness in the case registered against youth congress workers for protesting against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inside a flight. 

The decision was taken by a special team constituted by the state police to investigate the case. It is learned that EP Jayarajan's statement will be recorded later this week. 

Earlier, Youth Congress had submitted a complaint before DGP alleging EP Jayarajan had shoved the protestors inside the plane. This complaint was handed over to the special investigating team. 

However, no case was registered against EP Jayarajan for the same. Meanwhile, the opposition claimed that the police is trying to save the LDF convenor by including him in the witness list.
