Thrissur: A fire broke out at the Supplyco godown in Kunnamkulam. The incident happened at around 3 PM yesterday evening at the godown located beside the Kunnamkulam-Pattambi road. Stocks inside the godown, including rice and wheat, were destroyed in the mishap.

As per reports, sacks of rice in godown number 1 went up in flames initially. Upon receiving information, the fire force quickly arrived at the spot and doused the fire in about 10 minutes.

The quick response of the firefighters helped in avoiding further losses.
