Kanjirappally: In a tragic incident, a father and son were found hanging at their house at Kappad on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Thankachan (63) and his son Akhil (29). Both were reportedly found hanging in separate rooms of their residence. The two had been living alone in the house.

It was the neighbours who informed the police about the incident. The Ponkunnam Police reached the spot and initiated legal proceedings.

According to preliminary police findings, there are no signs of foul play in the deaths.

Further investigations are underway.
