Kochi: Four members of a family in Kadamakkudy in Ernakulam were found dead. While Nijo Johnny and his wife Shilpa were found hanging, their two children died after consuming poison. Shilpa was living abroad. She returned to Kerala recently.

Nijo was engaged in menial jobs. As per the preliminary investigations, financial burden forced the family members to take their lives. The bodies were recovered from the house on Tuesday morning. Kadamakkudy police arrived at the spot. Further procedures are underway.
