Thiruvananthapuram: As the police have intensified their search for actor Siddique, whose whereabouts are unknown following the rejection of his anticipatory bail plea by the High Court, the survivor has come out with a Facebook post evidently targeting Siddique. The post, which states, “Life is a boomerang. What you give, you get,” has gone viral and is being widely discussed on social media. Many people have been liking and commenting on the post, making it a huge hit.

According to the complainant, Siddique allegedly sexually abused her by bringing her to Mascot Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram, offering her a chance in films. The Thiruvananthapuram Museum police registered a case under section 376. Later, the case was handed over to the Special Investigation Team probing cases pertaining to the Hema Committee Report. The SIT has recorded the statements of the complainant.

While seeking anticipatory bail from the High Court, Siddique argued that there was considerable delay on the part of the complainant in lodging the complaint against him. However, the court dismissed this argument, stating that the delay in lodging a complaint does not alleviate the seriousness of the crime committed. The court also dismissed allegations against the complainant and asserted that she should not be attacked personally.

Following his disappearance, police issued a lookout circular against Siddique. In the wake of these developments, the Facebook post of the survivor has gained public attention.
