Thodupuzha: There has been another explosion at Moolamattom power house. The explosion happened on Saturday afternoon near generator number six. It has been reported that the situation is under control and that the employees are safe.

Functioning of the power house have been halted temporarily following the explosion. The cause of explosion has not been revealed yet.

This is the second explosion at Moolamattom power house to happen in 10 days. A similar explosion took place in January 20 during trial run. The two workers who experienced difficulty to breath were taken to a hospital.
