Kozhikode: K.T. Jaleel has announced that he will not be joining P.V. Anvar's newly formed party will continue to align with the Left Front, stating his commitment to the CPM as a coalition partner. During a press conference, Jaleel expressed concerns regarding attempts to portray the Left as supportive of the BJP, asserting that he would never be ungrateful to the party or alliance.
He vowed to stand by the Kerala Chief Minister, even in the face of personal threats to his life. Jaleel cautioned that the current events could lead Kerala towards severe communal polarisation, a situation that must be avoided at all costs.

Regarding the ongoing investigation, Jaleel called for the complete removal of the ADGP, emphasising that a report would be released soon. He noted that there was prima facie evidence against Sujith Das, which justified the actions taken. Jaleel firmly stated that the ADGP should not meet with RSS leaders, the act he felt was indefensible.
He expressed confidence that the investigation is progressing in the right direction, he stated that the Anvar should feel the same confidence. Jaleel distanced himself from seeking any positions, indicating that no one from the party has approached him, and he intends to focus on writing, travelling, and studies.
He concluded by mocking the notion that individuals should cling to positions for the sake of power, remarking that those who believe in merely competing for power are more likely to be found in other parties.
