Passengers traveling on the Ernakulam–Tatanagar Express in July and August should expect a 50-minute delay enroute due to track maintenance in the Salem Division.

Kochi: Southern Railway has announced that the services of Train No: 18190 Ernakulam Junction – Tatanagar Express will face running regulations on several dates across July and August 2026.
The temporary adjustments are necessitated by essential engineering and track maintenance works scheduled within the Salem Railway Division.
According to an official release issued by Southern Railway, the train—which departs from Ernakulam Junction at 7.15 am—will be regulated by 50 minutes enroute on specific dates.
The affected operational dates for the Ernakulam–Tatanagar Express are as follows:
- July 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27 and 29
- August 1 and 3
Railway authorities have requested passengers to note these schedule updates and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
