Kochi: Former Navy commander and yachtsman Abhilash Tomy prepares for yet another thrilling Golden Globe Race (GGR). Abhilash informed about his voyage via Twitter on Tuesday.

In 2018, this yachtsman had contested for GGR taking a voyage around the globe in a yacht but unfortunately, midway he met with a storm in the southern Indian Ocean dismasting his yacht and leaving him immobile, with a spinal injury. It was the 83rd day of his contest covering more than 19,446 km.

The voyage will starts from France in 2022.
