Thiruvananthapuram: Cannabis was found inside a car which was involved in an accident at Kottampally, Maranalloor, in the early hours of Sunday. The car crashed into a house wall and then overturned.

The vehicle was driven by Hirosh, a soldier, who was in a heavily intoxicated state. Another person was also present in the car at the time of the accident.

During an inspection after the crash, the Kattakada police found packets of ganja in the car’s boot and back seat.

Both sustained injuries and are at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for treatment. Police will record their arrests soon.
