Thrissur: The Customs on Friday raided the house of diplomatic baggage gold smuggling accused Faisal Fareed in Moonupeedika near Kaippamangalam here.

The house had been left vacant for the past 2.5 years. Faisal and family shifted here two years back and then returned to gulf. They haven't visited here recently.

The raid by Customs team from Kochi is in progress.
