Sabarimala: In a significant move to ease the pilgrimage experience, the Devaswom Board is considering an exemption for pilgrims who reach the Sabarimala temple via the traditional forest path.
These pilgrims will be allowed darshan without having to stand in the queue at Sannidhanam, offering a major relief for those who take the challenging forest route to the hill shrine. Pilgrims using this route take much longer to reach the temple, making it particularly difficult for them to wait for extended hours in the queue.
According to Mathrubhumi News, the Devaswom Minister has directed the concerned officials to explore and implement this exemption during the current pilgrimage season.
