Kochi: The preliminary post-mortem report of Twenty20 activist Deepu has revealed that a major skull fracture led to his death. It is also reported that his liver disease also reduced his chances of survival.

As per the report, he suffered fractures in two positions of the skull and blood clotted due to this.

Police have explained these details based on the preliminary findings of the doctors who conducted the post-mortem.

After obtaining the preliminary autopsy report, the police have initiated other procedures related to the case.

So far, police arrested four over the murder case. The police will seek the custody of the accused from the court for a detailed interrogation. 

The detailed post-mortem report will be obtained within the next few days.

Deepu’s funeral was held on Saturday evening at Kakkanad crematorium.
