Kochi: Refusing to back down from the ongoing controversy invloving Anil Antony, controversial figure, ‘Dallal’ Nandakumar has sent a legal notice to Anil Antony, BJP’s lok sabha candidate in Pathanamthitta and BJP state president K Surendran, demanding withdrawal of their defamatory remarks about him. In his legal notice Nandakumar has demanded that, both Anil Antony and Surendran should withdraw their statements calling him ‘idol thief’ and ‘wild thief’ . If they fail to withdraw the comments, a compensation of Rs. 25 lakhs should be paid to him by them.
A few days back, Nandakumar had said that, Anil Antony had received Rs. 25 lakhs from him in connection with the appointment of CBI standing counsel. Following this allegation, both Anil Antony and K Surendran had come out refuting the allegations. During the pandemonium that followed, Anil Antony had called Nandakumar as ‘idol thief’ and Surendran had called him as ‘wild thief’.
It is against these statements that Nandakumar has sent a legal notice to these two leaders.
