Kochi: Actor Dileep’s brother Anoop and brother-in-law TN Sooraj will not appear before the Crime Branch for interrogation on Wednesday. Anoop was summoned to the police club by 10 am and Sooraj by 2 pm on Wednesday. However, they both informed the Crime Branch that they are out of town.

As the investigation officials could not contact them by phone, the Crime Branch stuck notices at their residences on Wednesday.

Actress Kavya Madhavan will be questioned today at her residence ‘Padmasarovaram’ in Aluva. Though the Crime Branch asked her to appear at the police club for investigation, Kavya stated that as a witness she has the right to choose the place where she can be interrogated. Following this, the investigation team sought legal advice and decided to interrogate Kavya at her residence.

Kavya will be interrogated based on the audio clips retrieved from Dileep’s phone and the revelations of director Balachandra Kumar. References to Kavya Madhavan and her involvement in the case have been found in the data recovered from the mobile phone of Sooraj. The investigation team will question Kavya to get clarifications on this.

Though the Crime Branch informed the cyber expert Sai Shankar to appear for questioning on Tuesday, he did not turn up. He requested the officials to postpone the date for interrogation.
