Kozhikode: The CPI's state executive has stated that senior leaders must actively engage in the by-elections taking place in the Wayanad, Palakkad and Chelakkara constituencies. It also stressed that there is a need to strengthen the party's presence on social media and in print and visual media, requiring specific efforts in this regard.

The party has confirmed that activities are being carried out at the booth level and that two rounds of campaigning in Wayanad have been completed.  While leaders arrive on the designated days for campaigning, there are instances where they leave soon after. It is essential for leaders to remain fully present during these appointed days to conduct as many interventions as possible.

The meeting was held at a private hotel in Kozhikode under the chairmanship of Minister K Rajan. State Secretary Binoy Viswom elaborated on the party's decisions.

Participants included Ministers P Prasad, J Chinchurani, G R Anil, State Assistant Secretary P P Sunir MP, National Executive member P Santhosh Kumar MP, State Executive member T V Balan and Kozhikode district secretary K K Balan.
