Sreekandapuram: Controversial youtuber ‘Thoppi’ aka Mohammad Nihad was arrested by the Sreekandapuram police. He was arrested following a complaint lodged by Thumbeni resident Saji Xavier. ‘Thoppi’ was arrested for putting up an obscene video displaying the phone number of the complainant. 

Saji, who is engaged in metal fencing works, had put up small placards mentioning his phone number, so that people could contact him for such works. However, Nihad who took note of these ad boards, called Saji on his mobile, and hurled abuses at him without any specific reasons. In addition to this, ‘Thoppi’ uploaded obscene content on youtube displaying Saji’s phone number along with the video.

Following this, the youtuber’s subscribers also started abusing Saji over the phone. The helpless person finally lodged a complaint with the police to put an end to the ordeal. A team of police led by SHO Rajesh Marangalath arrested ‘Thoppi’ in connection with the case.
