
New Delhi: All India Congress Committee (AICC) has approved the proposal for the constitution of the Political Affairs Committee of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee.
The committee's size has also been increased from 23 to 36, with a strong emphasis on female representatives. Earlier, Shanimol Usman was the sole woman representative on the committee. Meanwhile, V.M. Sudheeran, who previously resigned from the committee due to his disagreement with the party leadership, is also on the list. Veteran politician A.K. Antony was not included in the committee.
The committee comprises:
K. Sudhakaran, V.D. Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, K. Muraleedharan, V.M. Sudheeran, Mullappally Ramachandran, M.M. Hassan, Kodikkunnil Suresh, P.J. Kurien, Shashi Tharoor, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, K.C. Joseph, Benny Behanan, Adoor Prakash, M.K. Raghavan, T.N. Prathapan, Anto Antony, Hibi Eden, P.C. Vishnunath, Shanimol Usman, M. Liju, T. Siddique, A.P Anilkumar, Sunny Joseph, Roji M. John, N. Subramanian, Ajay Tharayil, V.S. Sivakumar, Joseph Vazhackan, Padmaja Venugopal, Cherian Philip, Bindhu Krishna, Shafi Parambil Soornad Rajasekharan, P.K. Jayalakshmi, and Johnson Abraham.
