Recalling the “Kolibi” alliance, he also asserted that the gold smuggling allegations would not affect the LDF in the elections

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Kerala will unite to ensure continuity in governance. He added that development and public welfare are the core objectives of the LDF, and the government aims to take Kerala to the next level of progress.
The Chief Minister also criticised the UDF government that was in power a decade ago, alleging that the healthcare sector was in disarray and that the education system had deteriorated to the point where even textbooks could not be distributed. He said the Left government took on the responsibility of rebuilding Kerala from that “dark period.”
Referring to the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Pinarayi alleged that Congress leaders had celebrated it by bursting crackers and applauding. However, he said that recent developments in the case have dealt a blow to Congress. He accused Congress of degrading into a “B-team” of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi, and said similar trends were seen in Haryana and Bihar.
He further claimed that the BJP managed to open its account in Nemom due to a deal with the UDF, but that the Left front later shut that account. Recalling the “Kolibi” alliance, he also asserted that the gold smuggling allegations would not affect the LDF in the elections.
