Kottayam: Arya R Nair, who captured headlines by securing top rank in Civil Services examination and Sivam Tyagi, superintendent at Indian postal service in Ahmedabad, entered wedlock at a low key wedding ceremony.
The marriage was held at sub registrar office in Pampady as per the Special Marriages Act. By avoiding extravagant wedding, the couple decided to take up the educational expenses of 20 kids at children’s home ‘Punyam’ at Vazhoor in Kottayam.
Kottayam native Arya is currently undergoing training for Indian Revenue Service at Nagpur. She had secured 113th rank in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020. Indian postal service superintendent Sivam Tyagi is a Delhi native.
