Thiruvananthapuram: CITU slammed the transport Antony Raju for reprimanding the strike conducted by the KSRTC employees against the delay in salary distribution. By alleging the words of the minister as anti-labour, CITU asserted that the minister has the responsibility to solve the issues in KSRTC.

Severe accusations were raised against the minister in the general council meeting of CITU.

Antony Raju had said that neither the government nor the transport minister is obliged to dispense salaries to the KSRTC staff. He had stated that only the KSRTC management is accountable for this. However, CITU rebuked the statements of Antony Raju and noted that the government and the minister are liable for ensuring salary to the KSRTC employees.

Expressing protest, some activists even said that the minister should not teach them how to observe strike.
