Thiruvananthapuram: In separate incidents, two students went missing while swimming on Wednesday.

Nevin, 18, a Plus Two student from Panchayatnada, was swept away by the current at St. Andrews around 10 a.m.

Later in the day, around 1:30 p.m., Joshua, 19, went missing while swimming in sea near Maranadu.

Joshua's body was later recovered after becoming entangled in a fisherman’s net. The body has been taken to the mortuary at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.

Efforts to locate Nevin are still ongoing.
