Thiruvananthapuram: The cabinet meeting on Wednesday is likely to approve the bus, auto, taxi, fare hike in the state.

The final call over the hike will be after considering the report of the committee headed by officers.

Reports suggest that fare hike will come into effect from May 1.

Bus minimum fare will be fixed at Rs 10 while the government is considering appointing a commission to decide over students’ concession.
