Thousands evacuated from Kochi`s Litmus atheist meet due to a bomb threat and reports of an armed man. Police investigate.

Kochi: Chaos erupted at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Kadavanthra on Sunday after a bomb threat forced the emergency evacuation of thousands of attendees from Litmus, the world’s largest atheist gathering.
The event, which began at 8:30 am and was set to feature Bangladeshi-Swedish writer Taslima Nasrin, was abruptly disrupted following reports of a possible gunman inside the venue.
Police responded swiftly, cordoned off the area, and evacuated the crowd. A comprehensive security sweep was carried out to verify the credibility of the threat.
Although authorities have not officially confirmed the motive or any further details, eyewitnesses reported hearing announcements warning of a suspicious person possibly carrying a weapon, causing widespread panic among participants and organisers.
After an intense inspection, the event was cleared to resume within minutes
