Tolls will continue to be collected at the existing rates.

Kochi: The Kerala High Court has allowed toll collection at Paliyekkara to resume under certain conditions after a 71-day suspension.
The court, which had temporarily halted the collection due to poor road conditions and severe congestion from ongoing overbridge construction, issued the orders on the resumption on Friday. Toll collection had been on hold since August 6.
Tolls will continue to be collected at the existing rates.
Background: Why was toll suspended?
Toll collection at the Paliyekkara plaza was suspended on August 6 following multiple petitions highlighting severe traffic bottlenecks and unsafe road conditions along the Edappally–Mannuthy stretch of NH-544. Ongoing overbridge construction and incomplete roadworks were cited as major causes of commuter inconvenience and safety risks.
