Thiruvananthapuram: Director Santhivila Dinesh was arrested for uploading offensive videos against dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi on YouTube. Thiruvananthapuram Cyber Police arrested Dinesh and later released him on bail.

Bhagyalakshmi had filed a complaint with the chief minister and the DGP stating that Santhivila Dinesh uploaded videos that contain offensive remarks against her. Following this, he was arrested.

According to the complaint, Dinesh made disgraceful comments on Bhagyalakshmi's private life and circulated the video through social media platforms.

The police had warned Santhivila Dinesh once after recording statement of Bhagyalakshmi. He had obtained anticipatory bail on this case. However, he made similar offensive comments again and she filed complaint which resulted in his arrest.
