Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala government has informed that BEVCO outlets and warehouses in the state will remain closed on Sunday. Citing the importance of Independence Day, the government has directed the outlets and warehouses to remain shut.

Meanwhile, considering the Onam season, the operational time of liquor selling points has been extended. The BEVCO and Consumerfed outlets have been functioning from 9 AM to 8 PM.
