Kochi: After the liquor sale in the state was disrupted for two consecutive day due to issues in the virtual queue app BevQ, the developers Faircode Technologies are keeping mum.

The office of Faircode at Ilamkulam in Kochi has been locked from the inside. The phone calls, even on official number, are not attended. Meanwhile, the Facebook posts relating to BevQ have been removed from their page.

There were huge criticisms from all corners over the delay in developing the virtual queue app after government announced resuming liquor sale. It was alleged that the company entrusted with the app development was not capable of handing it and was selected on vested interests.

Though the app was uploaded on Google Play store, there were many issues starting from downloading it to obtaining OTP. Though the developers had claimed to resolve the issues on day two, BevQ is still not functioning properly.

With the failure of app, in many outlets sold liquor without token. Following this, the app developers went into hiding.

The Facebook page of Faircode Technologies has been posted with severe criticism.
