Thiruvananthapuram: A picture of Thiruvananthapuram Mayor Arya Rajendran discharging official duties holding her newborn baby is going viral on social media. In the picture, Arya is seen sitting at the office and checking a file, as her one-month-old baby girl slept in her hands. 

Arya Rajendran and Balussery MLA Sachin Dev were blessed with the baby on August 10. Arya gave birth to their daughter at SAT hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The couple named their newborn Dua Dev. 

Arya is the youngest mayor in the country. Sachin Dev is the youngest member of the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly. They met during their days in the students wing SFI, became close friends and later decided to spend their lives together. The duo tied the knot in September 2022.
