AAP chief and former Delhi CM chooses Kerala’s famed Ayurvedic care after recent political and legal setbacks.

Kanjirappally (Kottayam): Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has reached Parathodu in Kanjirappally for Ayurvedic treatment.
He arrived at the Madukkakuzhy Ayurveda Hospital on Wednesday around 7 p.m. for a week-long course of treatment. His convoy, accompanied by Kerala Police, entered the facility in the evening.
The former Delhi chief minister was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21, 2024 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. The agency alleged that the scrapped excise policy was framed to benefit AAP leaders by enabling kickbacks in exchange for favourable treatment to private players.
He was again arrested just a week after the model code of conduct for the 2024 General Elections came into force. Kejriwal, who had been seeking a fourth consecutive term as Delhi Chief Minister, also lost from the New Delhi assembly seat, marking a major political setback for him and his party.
