Argentina Embassy in India expresses interest in providing football training to children in Kerala

New Delhi: Argentina Embassy in India has expressed interest in providing football training to children in Kerala.

At Kerala House in Delhi, embassy commercial head Franco Agustin Senilliani Melchior stated this while thanking Malayali fans of Argentina for their support.

According to a government press release, he said that even though there were fans of Argentina and Lionel Messi across India, those from Kerala were the most heart-warming ones.

Argentina Ambassador to India Hugo Javier Gobbi will soon visit Kerala with a team. They will look into the possibilities of cooperation with Kerala. Agriculture and fishing possibilities would also be explored. He stated that he was waiting to see the fans in Kerala in person.

At the event held at Kerala House, a video of the compilation of celebrations from different parts of the state on the day of the World Cup final was screened. Agustin Senilliani also played football with the fans.
