Kochi: Former union minister and Rajya Sabha MP Alphons Kannanthanam has tested positive for COVID-19. His wife Sheela and son Akash tested negative for the virus, Kannanthanam informed through a Facebook post.
Kannanthanam stated that the doctor informed him he has been confirmed with COVID on Wednesday evening. He added that he would remain in front of the laptop for the next 14 days and that he has many works to finish during this time.
"Hopefully will finish the book I’m doing, in collaboration with lots of my IAS batchmates, over the next one week. Once I’m finished with that, I’ve two more books in the pipeline: one motivational and the other a fiction," Alphons Kannathanam wrote on Facebook.
Saying that he would miss playing with his dogs and cats and being part of feeding the birds and watching their vegetables grow, Kannanthanam requested all to pray for him too.
