Alappuzha North police officers enjoy two-day Vagamon trip, returning refreshed after scenic exploration.

Alappuzha North Station police officers had been eagerly awaiting a short break from their high-stress duties. Finally, their long-anticipated two-day excursion to Vagamon became a reality. Of the 80 staff at the North Station, 60 participated, while South Police Station officials took over the responsibility of maintaining law and order.
The trip was approved by SP and DySP following the officers’ request. The group included two principal SIs, eight Grade SIs, nine women officials, and three cooks.
Journey and exploration
The team departed from Alappuzha at 6 am on October 15 in two buses and reached Vagamon by 10 am. Over the day, they explored in 10 jeeps, visiting Karikode hilltop viewpoint, Kottamala viewpoint, Uluppuni Kappakanam waterfall, and Kaithapathal suicide point. They stayed overnight in Vagamon, enjoying the calm and scenic surroundings.
The following day, the officers visited more attractions before starting their journey back. On the way, they stopped at Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls near Pallickathodu in Kottayam. The team finally reached North Station by 9 pm, refreshed and re-energised.
