Thiruvananthapuram: The final report on the investigation against ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar regarding allegations of illegal wealth accumulation has been submitted to the state government.
The report, handed over by Vigilance Director Yogesh Gupta, clears Ajith Kumar, stating that no evidence was found to substantiate the claims of illegal wealth accumulation.
Earlier, the investigating officer, Vigilance SP, had submitted a report to the Vigilance Director, clearing Ajith Kumar of all allegations. The details of this report have already surfaced, and the final report confirms the same findings.
The probe was initiated based on allegations raised by P.V. Anvar. The Vigilance unit in Thiruvananthapuram conducted the inquiry, examining matters related to a flat in Kowdiar, other purchases, and alleged gold smuggling.
