Kochi: The survivor in the actress sexual assault case has filed a complaint with Kerala Police, citing a cyber attack targeting her and the circulation of a video by the second accused, Martin Antony, following the verdict.

According to various sources, the survivor has submitted 16 links responsible for sharing the video, including several connected to prominent individuals. A case may be formally registered soon, with possible arrests and further action expected.

The complaint states that the video, which resurfaced on social media after Martin was granted bail earlier by the Supreme Court, discloses the survivor’s identity in violation of legal safeguards.

Officials reiterated that revealing the identity of a sexual assault survivor is a punishable offence and urged the public to refrain from sharing the video or related content.

The video, originally recorded during the trial, contains claims previously rejected by the court. Martin was later found guilty and sentenced to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment. Police said the footage began circulating again after the verdict, prompting renewed scrutiny.
