Kochi: Crime Branch said that evidence substantiating the allegations of director Balachandra Kumar against Dileep, that the actor has the visuals of the attack on the actress, has been found. This information was received from the hard disk recovered from Lab Systems India Limited, a forensic consultancy in Mumbai, where the actor had sent his mobile phones to allegedly erase the data from them. The evidence was found from the phones used by Dileep and his brother-in-law Sooraj.

Thousands of records were recovered from the six phones submitted by actor Dileep in High Court. Phone conversations alone come up to more than 200 hours. Among the six phones, the inspection of two of them has been completed by almost 90 per cent. The other phones are yet to be inspected.

CB officials informed that though there was an attempt by Dileep and his lawyers to tamper with the evidence, shreds of evidence have remained.

There is also proof to validate the key accused Pulsar Suni’s visit to a place near Dileep’s home.

Crime Branch also has the voice notes submitted by director Balachandra Kumar in connection with the murder conspiracy case.

Photos of court documents were also found on Dileep's phone. These documents were attested by the presiding officer. A request was submitted to Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court on March 29 seeking permission to investigate this, but permission was not granted.

It is learnt that Dileep’s wife Kavya is in Chennai. The police are planning to question her as soon as she lands in Kerala.

Dileep’s lawyers given notice

Over the complaint filed by the actress in the assault case, Dileep’s lawyers were given notice by Kerala Bar Council. The senior advocate B Raman Pillai, Advocate Philip T Varghese and advocate Sujesh Menon were given the notice. They have also been given a copy of the complaint.

They have been instructed to turn in their replies within two weeks. This reply will be sent to the actress. The complaint will be taken up by the Bar Council meeting after considering their explanation.

Chats of Iranian man also erased

CB sources said that the WhatsApp conversations with an Iranian man are also among the phone data deleted by Dileep. CB found that out of the 12 chats that were deleted, one is the chat with an Iranian native named Golsen.

It was found that he dubs Malayalam movies into Iranian and screens them. Golsen has dubbed several of Dileep’s movies into Iranian.
