Kochi: Actor Unni Mukundan has been accused of assault by his former manager, according to a complaint filed at the InfoPark Police Station.

His former manager Vipin Kumar alleged that Mukundan physically assaulted him and used abusive language.

According to police sources, the person approached the station after seeking medical treatment at a hospital. Officers at the InfoPark station have taken a detailed statement and are in the process of verifying the allegations.

Case under examination

Only after thoroughly examining the complaint can we decide whether to register a case, said the police.

The complainant and the actor had a strained professional relationship for quite some time, added police.
