Ratnamma, one half of Kerala's popular viral social media couple 'Achamass', has died at the age of 69 in Punalur, Kollam. She had been facing health issues in recent years.

Kollam: Ratnamma, known to social media audiences through the viral 'Achamass' account, passed away at the age of 69. She was wife of Thulasidharan, a resident of Punalur.
Ratnamma and Thulasidharan became famous through the short videos and reels shared on the Achamass account. Their content attracted a large following among Malayalam viewers, making the couple widely recognised beyond their hometown.
The duo had not appeared together in videos for some time due to health issues. Thulasidharan had been undergoing treatment after suffering a stroke and was hospitalised for nearly 20 days. Ratnamma had undergone angioplasty two years ago and had also been facing age-related health problems.
The social media accounts were managed by their grandsons, Amal Raj and Akhil Raj, who helped share the couple’s videos with a wider audience.
Ratnamma is survived by her husband Thulasidharan, son Rajeev and daughter-in-law Bindu.
The funeral will be held at 11.30 am at the family residence in Punalur.
