Thodupuzha: The secret to Vishnu Vijayan’s success is that he is not bogged down by his failures. His life should be a lesson for all those who feel disheartened even by the smallest failures.

Vishnu’s life changed forever after he met with an accident in 2017. He was seriously injured when he feel from the top of his house. He was hospitalised for one year after being paralysed. Later, he was able to sit up. Meanwhile, his family, consisting of visually impaired mother, sick father, wife and two children, were undergoing great distress.

However, Vishnu decided to fight against his fate. He learned stitching by watching Youtube videos and started working on it. Even though, he started paper bag manufacturing as well, that was not enough. Meanwhile, his father passed away six months ago.

He then learned manufacturing paper pen and umbrella through a WhatsApp group for specially abled people. Schools and organisations began to approach Vishnu after getting to know about him through social media. He would send his products to his consumers via courier. Some of the major shops in Thodupuzha have already started to write their brand name over Vishnu’s products.
